5 Predictions for Accounting in 2018

I hope you had an enjoyable holiday — if you got one — given how popular tax accountants are these days. I had fun explaining to my interested friends and relatives how passthrough entities work.
We live in strange times.
Speaking of the times, before I left the office, I made a short list of my predictions for the accounting profession in 2018
Do you agree? Disagree? Is it all irrelevant because the world will come to a fiery, apocalyptic end? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments. Or just hit reply and tell me what I’m missing.
As always, here’s my curated collection of the best links I clicked on recently.
P.S. Don’t forget that you can sign up to listen to the next recording of my podcast live on CPA Academy. My guest for January is none other than David Leary, Small Business Ecosystem Evangelist at Intuit. Should be a good one!
